Advantages of Globe Valves
1.Short operating stroke, resulting in less time for opening and closing actions, enabling convenient and efficient operation.
2.Excellent sealing performance, with minimal frictional wear between sealing surfaces, effectively extending the service life of the valve.
3.Good flow control performance, allowing for precise regulation of the medium delivery volume.
Disadvantages of Globe Valves
1.Long installation length, which significantly increases the resistance during medium flow.
2.Relatively complex structure, leading to higher difficulty in manufacturing processes and greater inconvenience in subsequent maintenance.
3.The medium needs to flow through the valve seat from bottom to top, resulting in high flow resistance and requiring a large force to open and close the valve.
4.Limited range of applicable media; it is not suitable for transporting media containing particulate impurities, high-viscosity media, or media prone to coking.
