1. Main Structure
The concentric seal butterfly valve is mainly composed of the valve body, disc, valve stem, sealing assembly and actuator.

The valve body is generally circular with an internal flow passage for medium circulation. The disc is mounted on the valve stem, which is fixed to the valve body via bearings and other components.

2. Working Principle
When the actuator drives the valve stem to rotate, the disc revolves around the shaft accordingly to open or close the valve.

In the fully closed position, the disc closely contacts the sealing assembly on the valve body to form a tight seal and block the passage of the medium.
