What is a safety valve

A safety valve is an automatic valve that does not rely on any external force. It discharges a certain amount of fluid only by the pressure of the medium itself to prevent the pressure in the system from exceeding the preset safety value.

When the operating pressure of the medium exceeds the specified value, the safety valve can automatically open the valve disc to discharge excess medium (gas or liquid); when the pressure returns to normal, the valve disc will automatically close again.
