A ball valve mainly consists of valve body, valve seat (soft or hard sealed), ball core, valve stem, packing and actuator. It features compact structure, reliable sealing, convenient maintenance and easy operation.
Ball valves are classified into two main types: floating ball valves and trunnion-mounted ball valves.
1.The ball core of a trunnion-mounted ball valve rotates around the central axis at all times, unaffected by pressure difference changes, ensuring stable performance.
2.The valve seat of a hard-sealed ball valve adopts a double-seal structure, which shears medium through a scraper-type principle and realizes self-cleaning of the valve seat and ball surface simultaneously to keep them clean without residue.
3.Floating ball valves are suitable for low fluid pressure applications. Their nominal diameter range has been further expanded after successful application in the field of DN≤400mm and PN≤1.6MPa.
